Neurology Part I

Learning Objectives:

1.      Review of basic brain and spinal anatomy, nerve plexuses, disc and nerve/muscle physiology.

 

2.      Explain clinical concepts of differential diagnosis with respect to common Chiropractic cases such as; disc syndrome, nerve root vs peripheral lesions.

 

3.      Explain hemisphericity and how it affects musculoskeletal structures.

 

4.      Explain hemisphericity and how it affects visceral structures.

 

5.      Review neuro-rehabilitative therapies for greater patient outcome and patient retention.

 

6.      Discuss commonly ingested chemicals and their affects on neurophysiology.
